About the PositionJoin Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Houston, TX, at a hospital setting. Use clinical expertise to evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population. This role supports multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes while providing an opportunity to work in a regional health system and experience a new community. Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Texas state SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience providing SLP services in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or hospital settings preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, instrumental assessments such as FEES or MBSS, or willingness to obtain competency preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel SLP experience preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records and interdisciplinary care planning preferred.
