Job Announcement
The City of Chandler Cultural Development Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Museum Program Associate – Marketing. The position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday with regular weekend work on both Saturdays and Sundays, never more than every other weekend.
Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

We are looking for creative and detail-oriented marketing professional with experience producing engaging marketing materials and promotional content for museum programs and events across a variety of platforms and media.

Minimum qualifications
An Associate degree in Marketing, Museum Studies, Communications or related field; and
2 years of experience in marketing, including one (1) year of supervisory experience; and
A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Desired qualifications
Experience managing multiple social media channels
Ability to create engaging multimedia content
Strong writing skills with experience interviewing and writing profile stories
Experience editing and maintaining a website
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage content schedule
Basic digital graphic design skills
This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
