The client is seeking a dynamic and strategic human resources executive to fill the position of Chief Human Resources Officer and Associate Vice President of People & Culture (モCHROヤ). The CHRO will be a key member of the President's Cabinet and will oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive people and culture strategy. This role requires aligning talent, compliance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness with the institution's mission and broader systemwide priorities. Key responsibilities include leading cultural transformation, strengthening leadership capacity, ensuring regulatory and labor compliance, and elevating human resources as a strategic function to support student success and institutional excellence. The client is a university with a main campus and a satellite campus serving over 9,000 students across multiple academic programs. With a focus on extending access to higher education in the region, the institution impacts a diverse community and offers a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The CHRO will have the opportunity to play a high-impact role, contributing to the execution of a new strategic plan and enhancing the campus community. The role involves advocating for optimal working environments and strengthening the systems, policies, and relationships that support the institution's complex, unionized, shared-governance structure. The successful candidate will report to the President and lead a team including interim directors and the director of organizational development and HR systems. This position calls for responsiveness to the evolving landscape of higher education, with the ability to cultivate an engaged and future-ready workforce.
