Position Overview:
- New Cardiac Cath Lab opening in 2027
- Recently renovated outpatient clinic located next to the hospital campus, featuring outpatient testing and cardiac rehabilitation on-site
- Become part of a skilled team consisting of 2 interventional cardiologists, 1 non-invasive cardiologist, and 2 dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Work in a physician-led environment supported by one of the region's most reputable health systems
- Established referral network allowing for rapid practice growth
- Predictable and flexible clinic hours, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Current STEMI coverage from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for future growth
- Shared call structure of 1:4 or better

Compensation and Benefits:
- Two-year guaranteed salary transitioning to a productivity-based wRVU compensation model

Preferred Qualifications:
Role Purpose:
The physician will deliver professional medical services within their specialty to the best of their ability through direct patient care, while also dedicating time to complete related tasks such as medical record documentation, providing MyChart consultations, managing in-basket communications, conducting patient-specific education, and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the medical care of a patient panel by providing or arranging for inpatient hospital care, either through regular hospital rounds or by coordinating with hospitalists or other qualified physicians.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and care team members to ensure excellent patient care outcomes at designated clinic locations.
- Perform and document medical histories and physical examinations in accordance with hospital medical staff bylaws.
- Provide or arrange for call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient care in compliance with medical staff bylaws and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with and mentor advanced practice providers, support staff, or any care team members involved in the care of the physician's patient panel.
- This position is considered safety-sensitive, requiring the ability to maintain constant alertness and work safely.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Doctorate in Medicine
- Experience: Less than 2 years
- Supervisor Experience: No experience required
