Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state license to practice as an SLP
- Recent experience providing speech-language pathology services, preferably in a school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to independently manage caseload and documentation
- Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals tailored to student abilities
- Provide direct speech and language intervention in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Accurately maintain records and document services in a timely fashion
- Monitor outcomes and adjust strategies to maximize student growth
