Enjoy a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a welcoming district in the northern suburbs of Denver. Serving a close-knit community of approximately 7,000 students across 16 sites, this district is known for its supportive team environment and openness to professionals at all stages of their careers, including both new graduates and seasoned clinicians.
In this role, you’ll work primarily with K-8 students in mild to moderate classroom settings, managing a caseload of 40-50 students. You’ll play a vital role in helping students reach their full communication potential, collaborating closely with educators and support staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Eligible or in the process of obtaining Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credentials (please detail your status upon application)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and provide direct and consultative therapy services to students with speech and language needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with families and staff regarding student progress and strategies
