Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition requires a degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Blazer Jobs is partnering with school districts near Los Angeles, California to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) for the upcoming school year. Position Overview:
- Full-time, school-based contract role
- Location: Los Angeles, California area
- Hourly pay range: $59–$71 based on experience
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Eligibility for Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of California
- Registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or Clinical Fellow with the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (as applicable)
- Temporary or preliminary California licensure/authorization for Clinical Fellowship practice
- California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification or eligibility, if required for school-based services
- Compliance with California Department of Education and local district requirements
- Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting
- Strong foundational clinical knowledge and willingness to learn under supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language screenings and assist with evaluations under supervision
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Implement treatment plans and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with supervising SLP, educators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and service logs in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Engage in ongoing supervision and professional development as part of the Clinical Fellowship
