This contract role offers the chance to work closely with a supportive team across 16 sites, serving approximately 7,000 students. Bring your expertise to a K-8 setting, focusing on mild to moderate cases, with a manageable caseload of 40-50 students. The district prioritizes individual growth—for students and staff alike—and is especially friendly to professionals who may be relocating. If you’re in the process of obtaining your Colorado Department of Education credentials (CCC-SLP required), your application is encouraged; the team welcomes transparency on your licensure status.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active or pending Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Eligible for Colorado Department of Education licensure (CDE); candor about your application status appreciated
- Background in school-based SLP services, open to passionate new graduates and seasoned professionals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfort working with K-8 students
- Ability to commit to a full school year contract
Role Highlights:
- Provide direct SLP services to a caseload of 40-50 students (mild-moderate needs)
- Collaborate with educators and integrated services to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
- Participate fully in a 2-step interview process: a virtual meeting with the director, followed by an in-person (or virtual, if needed) panel interview
