Deliver focused speech therapy sessions that encompass language, fluency, voice, and swallowing interventions. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families, ensuring a unified approach to patient care. Engage in educational conversations with patients and their families to reinforce therapeutic gains beyond the clinic. Occasionally assist with inpatient assessments and interventions, fostering seamless continuity of care throughout treatment. Keep precise and timely documentation that meets state, federal, and organizational standards. Pursue professional growth through continued learning and collaboration with your peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is still pending. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Skills Expertise in evidence-based therapy techniques for patients of all ages, with a comprehensive understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Strong interpersonal communication skills to connect with patients, families, and team members. A flexible and adaptive approach to therapy that acknowledges diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Excellent clinical judgment and keen problem-solving skills.
