Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, medical staff, family members, and caregivers, to craft holistic care approaches.
Facilitate education for patients and families, empowering them with strategies that promote progress beyond therapy sessions.
Participate in occasional inpatient speech evaluations and therapeutic interventions to ensure a continuum of care.
Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and institutional protocols.
Commit to lifelong learning through continuous education and teamwork within the professional community.
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.
Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods for all age groups, coupled with a solid grasp on both developmental and acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
Superb interpersonal skills with a focus on empathetic communication with patients, families, and collaborative healthcare teams.
