Join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist in one of Kansas's most thriving communities, where your expertise will extend beyond traditional therapies. Your role will help unlock the potential of individuals at every stage of life—from the joyous first words of toddlers to the inspiring independence regained by seniors. This is a chance to serve a diverse population in a setting that harmonizes both outpatient therapy and occasional inpatient care. Whether you're drawn to guiding children through their language milestones, assisting adults with neurogenic communication challenges, or providing geriatric rehabilitation, you'll discover fulfillment and flexibility in your practice here. Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and direct observation. Craft tailored treatment strategies that not only meet immediate challenges but also support ongoing communication, cognitive, and swallowing rehabilitation. Administer focused speech therapy sessions addressing communication, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallow proficiency. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, ensuring streamlined care strategies. Provide education to patients and families, fostering progress beyond therapy sessions. Perform periodic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation process. Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly, adhering to state, federal, and organizational protocols. Engage in continuous professional growth by staying abreast of advancements in the field through education and collaborative efforts with peers. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Satisfactory completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained. Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be secured within 30 days of commencing employment. Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for a spectrum of ages, demonstrating an understanding of both developmental and acquired communication and swallowing disorders. Exceptional capacity for interpersonal communication with patients, families, and collaborative healthcare teams. Adaptability in therapy methodologies to cater to multifaceted cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong analytical skills complemented by clinical judgment and adept problem-solving capabilities. Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation requirements. Competitive salary reflective of experience and credentials. Flexible scheduling options to support work-life harmony and manage diverse case loads. Opportunities for specialization in pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatric care. Generous paid time off (PTO) alongside holiday compensation. Options for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage. Financial support for continuing education and professional development. A culture of collaboration within a team-focused environment dedicated to quality care and lifelong learning. A Career to Inspire — and Be Inspired As a Speech Language Pathologist with us, you won't only deliver innovative speech therapy—you'll become an integral part of a mission that reestablishes voices, fortifies communication, and creates heartwarming moments through the most fundamental human experiences: feeling understood and connecting with others. You'll join a team of devoted clinicians who treat each other like family, fostering a spirit of collaboration over competition. Each patient arrives with a narrative, and we rely on you to help craft their story's next chapter.
