Provide education to patients and families, fostering progress beyond therapy sessions. Perform periodic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation process. Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly, adhering to state, federal, and organizational protocols. Engage in continuous professional growth by staying abreast of advancements in the field through education and collaborative efforts with peers. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Satisfactory completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained. Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be secured within 30 days of commencing employment. Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for a spectrum of ages, demonstrating an understanding of both developmental and acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
