About the PositionJoin Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist in Asheville, NC and apply your expertise in communication and swallowing disorders in a hospital setting. Local clinical resources include a comprehensive stroke center, Level II trauma services, and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, supporting a varied caseload and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active North Carolina state SLP license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience providing SLP services in an acute care or hospital environment preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, instrumental assessments (FEES or MBS) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with stroke, neurological, and critical care populations preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and hospital documentation standards preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 08:00–18:00.
- Schedule includes weekend rotation.
- Shift length typically 7–10 hours per shift.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support stroke, trauma, cardiothoracic, neonatal, and pediatric populations.
