Speech Language Pathologist Location: Greensboro, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,159 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 20 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Hospital Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year in acute care required License: Current Speech-Language Pathology License required Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, MBSImP preferred, MBS required Must-Have: Acute care experience required Experience with Modified Barium Swallow studies required Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment required Description: We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist for an acute care setting. The candidate must possess experience in managing patients with various diagnoses, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological conditions. Recent experience with Modified Barium Swallow studies is essential. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and adhere to strict attendance policies. Knowledge of the EKG exam is necessary, as it is a requirement of the facility. Candidates should be prepared to work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients and families are critical in this role. Candidates will be expected to conduct assessments, implement treatment plans, and document patient progress accurately.
