Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: State License required Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP required Must-Have: Must be able to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies. First timers considered. Description: This position involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The typical workload includes 1-3 adult outpatient cases per day, with the remainder being acute hospital care. Candidates must have experience performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently. Weekend coverage and call requirements are not applicable for this position. Previous acute care experience is preferred. The patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics. Daily patient visits fluctuate, with an average of 8 visits per day. This role involves interdisciplinary support and a wide variety of outpatient diagnoses. Providers may need to float between different facilities within the state as needed. References will be required prior to the start. All providers are expected to comply with facility protocols and requirements.
