Speech Language Pathologist Location: Westwood, NJ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,334 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required; travel experience preferred License: New Jersey license must be in hand at the time of submission Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, Modified Barium Swallow Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Charting system experience (Epic) Description: SLP-CCC position in an inpatient acute care setting. This role includes providing care primarily to geriatric patients. Patient diagnoses include post-op ACDF, pneumonia, CHF, COPD, and falls. Clinical responsibilities involve conducting assessments, evaluations, and treatments. Experience in modified barium swallow studies is required. Knowledge of various patient care techniques and strategies is necessary. Participation in interdisciplinary support is expected. The position calls for flexibility with one weekend shift per month. Candidates should be proficient in documentation and familiar with patient care protocols. A well-rounded skill set in acute care and related procedures is essential.
