Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: SLP Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP Must-Have:- Ability to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies - Experience in Acute Care and Adult Outpatient settings - Competence in treating patients with Dysphagia Description: This is a hybrid position involving both inpatient and outpatient settings. Typically, there are 1-3 adult outpatient visits per day, with the remainder in an acute hospital. Candidates must have experience in Modified Barium Swallow Studies and be able to perform them independently. Weekend coverage and call will not be required for this assignment. Candidates must include their requests for time off at the time of submission. All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Communication devices may be provided by the client for job duties. Travelers must have two references covering one year in the last three years during the compliance process.
