Speech Language Pathologist Location: Mound City, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,446 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/15/2026 About the Position Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist Profession: Speech and Language Pathologists Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours, M-F Experience: 1 year of SLP experience required Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required License: Missouri State License required Certifications: CCC certified SLP required Must-Have: New graduates are welcome as long as they have Level II experience and not just Level I observation experience One reference may be submitted Description: Effectively screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. Develop appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards. Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions. Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Modify services in relation to patient evaluation and refer patients based on outcomes. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders. Effectively communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans. Provide comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements. Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system. Maintain patient records according to company policy. Accurately record treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements. Participate in required meetings, including but not limited to patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings. Engage in facility and company-required trainings, in-services, and conferences. Obtain any necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Supervise and support CFY or student speech-language pathologists. Adhere to ASHA and state-required practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics during professional practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
