Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Acute Care
Tacoma, Washington
13-Week Contract | Tuesday–Saturday | 40 Hours Guaranteed

We are currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an Acute Care assignment in Tacoma, WA. This position offers the opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center, treating both inpatient and outpatient populations.

• Perform bedside swallow evaluations and follow-up treatments
• Conduct communication and cognitive evaluations
• Administer standardized outpatient assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse patient population
• Treat patients with diagnoses including CVA, TBI, post-concussion, and head & neck cancer
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

• Active Washington SLP License
• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
• CCC-SLP certification required (CCC-A not accepted)
• Current BLS Certification
• COVID vaccination required
• Acute Care and Outpatient experience preferred
• Experience with bedside swallow evaluations and communication assessments required
