Contract | Days | Monday–Friday | Full-Time | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00–16:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech language pathology services in both inpatient (acute care) and outpatient settings within an acute care hospital
• Manage a hybrid caseload consisting primarily of acute hospital patients with approximately 1–3 adult outpatient visits per day
• Independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
• Assess and treat adult patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist; must be able to practice independently
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Active California state SLP license required — must be in hand prior to start; pending licensure not accepted
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies
• LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system
• Experience treating adult patients across both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings
